Retiring
Daed's blog is semi-retired as he's entering the age where he will need to be given the choice about his online presence. As such, I'll be limiting the nature of the content and the pictures to be posted here. I will be updating this and polishing it off to include pictures up to his third birthday. He's in preschool. Junior Kindergarten starts next year. As a child of the Millenial Teen's... 2010's?, I've no doubt that the internet will feature in his life. But what that means will be up to him.
However: I've known for a few months that Daed has a sibling en route.
A Sibling!
We're all getting pretty excited, especially Daed. We haven't settled on a name yet,Mommy started to want to find out, but we'd been discussing it with Daed the whole time. After Mommy changed her mind, she asked Daed what he wanted: to find out if it's a boy or girl, or to wait. He chose to wait. Now it's become something of a game for him.
People keep asking Daed if he wants to have a baby brother or a baby sister. The first time he thought about it and said, "Umm..... No. Just baby." Those of you who know him know how thoughtful he is already. No expectations, just love. He does appear to be getting tired of being asked though. Last time someone asked, he huffed then yelled, "JUST BABY!"
Meanwhile we're struggling to put together a plan and baby names (so many found and thrown out. Others chosen to keep close to our hearts on our short list).
To tide you over, here's a list of baby names from Charles Dickens' works (compiled courtesy of babycentre:
